On September 25th, according to media reports, Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen5 adopts the same design as Snapdragon 8 Gen4, consisting of 2 high-performance cores and 6 efficiency cores.

It was revealed that the high-performance core code of Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen5 is Pegasus, with a CPU frequency of an astonishing 5.0GHz and an efficiency core CPU frequency of 4.0GHz, far higher than Snapdragon 8 Gen4's 4.32GHz and 3.53GHz.

It is worth noting that Qualcomm is fully preparing for the mass production launch of Snapdragon 8 Gen4, and it is too early to discuss Snapdragon 8 Gen5 now.

If the leak is true, then the performance of Snapdragon 8 Gen5 will once again break the industry record and show significant improvement.

It is worth noting that there have been reports that Qualcomm is considering adopting a dual OEM strategy with Samsung and TSMC, and it is not ruled out that the Snapdragon 8 Gen5 may have Samsung and TSMC disclose the possibility of outsourcing.
